Watching Daddy

We are currently (over a long period of time) working on our hallways. I've even looked at paint colours but I think that may be a bit premature.

The children enjoy watching Dad and he is quite happy to have them "watch" if that's all they do. Yesterday, Ryan and Claire did more than that and proceeded to touch the wood he had spent the afternoon sanding and staining. Getting things done and having them stay that way may be something we will have to wait for another fifteen years or so.

I thought I'd put these up before I even begin to look at the summer vacation folders. Stay tuned .. I'm not promising anything soon but I hope to get there.

Monkey See, Monkey Do

In this case, as in so many others, Charlotte is the monkey. We often call her a monkey and she laughs and will call us monkeys. Ryan also seems to have one of his facial injuries. That poor boy always seems to land on his face. The other day he tripped and got a nice mouthful of gravel at the park.
